I’ll do an usual thing and tell you how this whole story ends in advance. We win in the end and the weak abusers lose. The ending is not in doubt, its only a matter of how many pages the book has before we get to the ending.
With that in mind I’m going to give you at update on our Summer Plans. It can be broken down into four key components.
July 15th.
We have now confirmed and accepted the date of July 15th to put what is essentially like a cinema screen on wheels into the city for eight hours on a Saturday. We could have accepted an earlier date but they are so in demand it would have been a Friday or Sunday. And neither compare to a Saturday and esp not that Saturday since there is a huge music and jazz festival here and the city will be exceptionally busy.
This also gives our creative guys a bit more time to deal with the technical demands of this. But its booked and a done deal and we good what I think was very good value. We can put on video of all our past works, we are selecting appropriate sound to go with it, there’s a lot involved. But we will do it and it will be the best. We’ll be able to build a story around it very easily and get lots of people talking about it. By this time all the election drama will also be over and we will have a clear picture of who is in charge.
August 27th.
We have moved the date of the public presentation forward to this date, still to be held at the fantastic venue of the Royal Botanical Gardens. Firstly, by then we will know who is in charge of the country. That’s quite key. Secondly, it gives us more time to do a better job. We don’t have a huge task force – and we often multi task and with some complex things. Thirdly, I have been put in touch with someone who would make a quite fantastic guest speaker and if I can get them to agree to do it, it would be massive for the objective of this presentation – which is ultimately about bringing people together in pro active ways.
Database – date/late summer
We’re not bothered if ministers want to sit around and pontificate over this matter anymore. They are redundant now. We are doing on our own. We cant stand by and wait for the state to do everything. Its far too serious a subject and these creatures are far too dangerous to the vulnerable. They should be logged and their cases should all be easily accessible to the public. And they will be.
New Informant Pilot Scheme
As well as doing all of the above we are in the early stages of piloting a new sub division of OF which would only and purely deal with intelligence and information gathering on known and convicted sadists who could be deemed persons of interest.
This will be an informal sub division with no visible public aspect to it. Naturally, anyone stepping up to do this would have to demonstrate some level of evidence or proof to their claims, or they’d have to be able to show their source is so sound it holds up. Any accurate information we can find out about persons of interest the better.
It may even be small things that you think are unimportant, but we can use. Or it can indeed be the big and obvious things like when they rock up at a new place. It can effectively be UK wide in so far as anyone from any part of the UK is welcome to step up and offer information that we might be able to use. Sometimes I may not immediately knw how to use it, then it will occur to me a week or so later. Honest and sincere people who did this would be playing a pivotal role.
That’s four pretty big things in relative short order and I can get press for three of them.
And then there is Operation X, but you’ll only know about that when it happens and its not my main focus right now. Its good though and will happen. Its really five things if you included that unknown.
So. If you get a bit down or demoralised this week about the number of little bastards out there getting a free reign then take some comfort in the fact that their days are numbered.
Yes, we can on occasion single one out and make an example of them in the way we did (and will do) with those freaks. There’s something quite satisfying watching two ‘hard men’ flee and run like scared little mice for an entire half year.
But our ambitions are grander. We’re going after all of them. If the political thinking must be changed in order to secure it – we will change the political thinking. If we must on occasion do special operations to highlight a given case – we will do that.
Like I said – the end of the book is already written. We all win and they lose. Its only the number of pages and unwritten chapters that are yet to be determined.
